I came across this thread while trying to sort a jumbo I had.

Mine lost tx and rx when the tune and clarifier was turned left.

It turned out someone had changed the 5.4 volt to a 6.8 giving too high a voltage on the pll and oscillator circuit.

Changed that and it's sorted :)

Wtd Colt Excalibur schematic

Has anyone got a schematic for a colt excalibur. Its the 121 chassis I need the digram for the silver one that has 3 x 40 ch and the Clarifier that pulls out for tx/rx etc. Some goon has pulled the wires and resistors off the switch and while i could probably work it out the schematic will save me s...

I always change R150 which is in line with the AF ALC.
In the 121 board i stick a 5.6k and the 125/natos around 3k and that helps the fm tx audio

The channel jumping thing may be one of the small tactile switches gone duff.
I had a Saturn Turbo that did the same thing and changing the switch cured it.
