hello i just bought a galaxy SSB ECHO and the frequency counter on the radio is going nuts. has any one ever had this prblem and what can i do to fix it ? a little info on the radio, it doesn't seem to be off frequency when it is doing this and it only seems to do it when you first cut it on.but on ...

i have a 48t that is doing 150 pep and has been moded foe cb band and i realy like it but i was wanting a new radio and ssb.

has any one seen are know any hting about the new 98VHP radio that galaxy has out? i have seen pic and the specs that it will do 200 watts out of the box but is that on am or ssb? i 'am thinking of getting on but i'am not sure if it is all that it's worked up to be.

final has 12 volts on center pin till you key the mic for tx and then no power on any pin and the pil is U544T and i can't find D422.it also looks like the copper side of the board is loose at the for right pin of the final.if that is the problem can a jumper be run ?

yes the tx lights up and it does key up but no power. the # on the board is A068A-8-0. not sure what you mean by pll.

the cutting of D11 and ajusting VR4 is for modulation. don't cut D11 just turn VR4 all the way clock wise and if yougot a good power meter you can tune L14,L13,and L12 for more RX power.but don"t try tune ing without a meter.

i have a cobra 29 ltd-nw that is not putting out any power. i have changed the final and and still nothing. when i key the mic the meter drops to 0 and even on the swr cal setting it wont move. does any one have a clue to what i could do to fix this thing?

i just got a daul final kit a don't know if i should in stall it are do some of the othier rf power upgrade that have been posted on the defpom web. can someone tell me witch is the best way to go are if i can doe them both end get more power? i would like to have around 1watt d-key and 40to 50 watt...
