thanks for the input Rick I am getting zero voltage it does not blow a fuse just no power at all ckeck voltage at back of radio where the plug goes in and I only get like 2 volts so I changed the plug and same thing and I get no voltage at the final.audio ic,the on and off switch the power supply an...

on ebay these are the 2 people I deal with the item numbers are 220205070584 and 160210832915 1 has the meter channel display and the tx/rx light the other has blue film to go in front of channel display just type in the numbers in the search bar

hotrod mine does not blow any fuses but I did have one like that and the little plastic insulator was missing behind the final and audio chip you might want to make sure all insulators are there

go to home page got to amateur and cb section click on it then go to mods then scroll down to blackhawk those are great little radios and very easy to mod

that af gain is volume other then that not much other then if you open it up you may see a red wire coming off the power transformer that is not hooked up to anything do not ever use it for anything it is for converting it to 220 volts

let me recorrect my post what happening is it is a 1 watt deadkey and swings to 3/4 watt so about that ramblinman but thanks for the help if you have one for the correction that would be great also thanks again

my 3300hp is fine on some bands and then you go to channel 9 and it is on channel 22 and if you turn the power off and turn it back on it is back to channel 9 until you change the channel then it will be on channel 22 again on channel 9 can anyone help please thanks for any and all help

I have the 966 and it is a great radio never had any problems with it mine was done by wizz kid electronics and it rocks

the problem I have is that all channels work right until you go thru the channels for example channel 9 and 22 are on the same frequency can anyone help thanks .this is a great forum as I am new member and also want to wave a hand
