I pluged my 148 in backwards, now no receive or trans. lights com on channel led lights work and when you key the mic. the red light indicator doesn't light I checked ic 4 all volts good except last pin trans side but won't key so I don't count that I can smell some thing burned but can't see any th...

frogman; tried different mikes still dose the same thing, only after it warms up. close or far talk back on or off..

when I Key the mike I get a squeal an it jumps about 800 kc in frequency I 'am not real familiar with this radio. any body have any ideas?

I installed A 2030,1230 removed the other parts ect. I have done this before with no problem, but this time I have low out put ! I have gone back over everything all my solder joints ect. are good, can't figure it out!!!!!!
