As far as I am aware the "multi" is a different version to the one you have and you cannot simply mod it like the Multi. On the Multi you take off the top cover and there are a row of 3 pairs of solder pads. By de-soldering Pin24 / option 3 it allows all bands to be selected inc Russian that gives. ...

I HAVE NOT CHECKED THIS...

Change C-38 on the echo board to 470uf 16v cap

Came from a reliable source and later models ie 80watt have this change made.

Came in with 1 final blown in half.
Done replacements but still giving low output, still under investigation..
After 15 years never thought I would need all my repair equipment again !! Should never have sold it... :P

Hi to everyone and especially anyone who dealt with me in the UK when I had my CB spares and components business.
Been away for a while doing Satellite TV..
Now back and re-started in CB to pass the time in my "semi-retirement" and save being bored..
