Hi Team, I have a pair of pristeen looking GE 3-5979 40Ch. CBs. What options are available to extend the RX/TX distance of these GE 3-5979 40Ch. CB? If possible what is required to convert this GE 40 Channel Handheld CB 3-5979 radio onto NZ 26.330MHz through to 26.770MHz channels?
Also I would like to obtain,if they existed,the user manual for the same in pdf or whatever.

Hi Team,
How does one open this NZ channelized/marketed radio to perform like it is advertised,
'GME GX300 CB Radio has both Australian 27MHz Marine and Land based frequencies in the one unit.'
In this case kept on New Zealand channels but reactivate the other band option.
