magnum s9 problem

ive just got a magnum s9 new works perfecton all bands and modes just 1 problem on ssb i can hear my own voice through the speaker and the roger bleep it doesnt affect the tx when iam talking but you can slightly hear yourself and the talk back is off any 1 got any ideas when i spoke to truck king they said it does that its normal .but when speaking to other people who have the same radio they say theres dont do that.can any 1 help me out cheers inadvance

If it not right return it to truck kings. it must be under guarantee.

i had one radio that done that....just on ssb as well

ive sent a email to rf limited to see what they say ,if they say its not normal for the radio to do that then its goin back to truck king ive only had it a day thanks for the replys...,,, i just thought i could disable the talkback completely it mite of solved the problem

I HAVE NOT CHECKED THIS...

Change C-38 on the echo board to 470uf 16v cap

Came from a reliable source and later models ie 80watt have this change made.
