I had one before. They are built like a tank. They are pretty darn good IMO...

TS 250 4 buttons

Post by BoogeyMan »

A guy gave me a Texas Star 250.(Non-variable,it has 4 buttons)
I want to put in my P/U truck with a Uniden Pro 510 radio. The AMP has two wires out the back (red & Black),with NO fuse in sight .I assume its the hot & ground.
1: Any suggestions on how & where to hook this up in the truck?
2:Do I need to do'anything' to the radio(ie... turn it up /turn it down power?
3: Im running it to a 102" SS Whip.
I dont want it wide open ,and Ive never used it so which 'button/setting is good to use?(Color coded & Im not sure which does what??)
Thanks for the comments & help guys!
