MOS RM3 transistor

Post by arnoldlee »

I have a friends amp which is KAPUT, the 4 output devices have had the numbers/letters removed by the manufacturers. I have discovered they are MOS RM3 by looking at RM's site, but I cannot locate a supplier, at least not in the UK. Is there an alternative and is it worth the trouble.
The amp is desribed as a Midland 747B Booster, with KL 203 rel 6.0 on the board.

You have a PM.
How far is it.
Twice it's length from halfway.

I'll bet those are IRF 520's!

The RM3 is not a IRF520 but may work with lower power output.
The amp maker removers the ID from the transistor making hard to find out what they are.
The right mosfet is HUF7534P3 and are made by Fairchild.
