jerry riggin a cb amp questions

Hey guys im new to the cb-ing world and have a many questions but anyways im wanting to get alot more power out of my setup and was looking into amps. So i have some old car stereo amps is it possible to convert these to work as a linear amp??? thanks alot for any help!
