Hi all,

Has anyone played around with improving the receive and noise blanking of a PC122 or pro 640e by using Schottky diode replacement, much like the DX949, 959, these diodes really help there receive bigtime, any input would be great.

A lot of times when you replace the diodes, you will not think there is a difference until you get to where there is no skip. Then you will wonder if the radio is dead as it will go so quiet. Yes, this DOES work, at least on the PC122. I've done it and then thought there was something wrong as it was so quiet.
