hey guys , I got yet another cobra 29 question. I made a trade on a chinese made 29 ltd classic. at first it appeared nice n clean and stock. so, before any real testing, i made a swap for a nw st i finally fixed (after over a year if receive problems, tip[tiny black spec of a resistor on solder side had a bad connection])
Once i hooked this up to my test meters, i noted a bit of swang. I checked inside and sure nuff, the swing mod using the electorlytic cap was done. ok thats fine. stock final swinging close to 10 was good, but i want to up it, so i pop in the 2sc1969... well, the oddest thang, watts dropped. before going farther i replaced the original. now no swang. Odd.
My thought here is take out the swing mod and go back stock, then move in the 2sc1969 mod...
any thoughts why it would kill the swing? its now running straight about 5 watts carrier, 100%mod.
