Adding frequency counter to a 2000 gtl

Anyone ever added an external frequency counter to a Cobra 2000 GTL? The original one doesn't work. I'm wanting to add a Galaxy FC347 or FC30BT or Texas Ranger FC390 type to it. Looking for the locations where to connect the wires on the PC board. I know it's been done on the Cobra 148 gtl's, hoping it can be on the 2000 gtl as well.
