Help Cobra29ltd Classic

hi i just took my brand new cobra 29ltd classic to a truck stop here in nv and i had the guy peak and tune my radio the cost for the job was $65 dollors did i get rip off on the peak and tune with this setup i will be useing a wilson 5000 mag mount with a rk56 mic i would like to know please help me out thanks

I just had a SSB radio done for $30. But that was in Indiana. Maybe prices are different in your part of the country.

to expensive i think should have been like 20 bucks its so easy to peak and tune a radio its ridiculous i do all my own radios and have tuned others and from my experience truck stops charge to much for such easy things

I think you got hosed ...

A regular peak and Tune shouldnt cost no more than 15 bucks

peak and tune with the Mod kit 30.00

peak and tune w/ mod kit and bigger final 59.95 ( these are the prices I charge )

I recently bought a Galaxy 979 online from Sparky's CB Shack, They peak and tune them for free when you buy from them. I guess the bottom line is, do some research before forkin' over the money. Sadly some are just tryin' to make a fast $.
