I have a Lafayette 1200FM (similar to MM2, Jumbo1, identical mainboard), and want to change the clarifier to a KC shift to make it easier to get UK40 channels. What do I connect to where and how? Or, can anyone direct me to a webpage with the necessary info?

Ron,
If the front board is the PTSY016AOX then this will unlock the clarifier to a KC shift.
Remove D5 and R26. Connect the unused clarifier pin on the control to a 10k resistor and connect the other end of the resistor to the emitter of Q44 the regulator. D7 is the varactor diode by adding a 5.6uH coil to the + end of it, it will give you more shift.
Dave.

How far is it.
Twice it's length from halfway.
