Does anyone have the alignment procedures for the Galaxy DX959?

It seems that most sites are still keeping this radio a big secret!

Thanks!
Roger

become a paid member here and the service manual is downloadable.I just downloaded it and it gives the full alignment procedure. you will also need a freq counter and a scope to do it right. let me guess; the SSB transmitts off frequency? That was the problem with mine that I'm still working on. But yes; he has the manual in the members area right here!

The SSB is also off freq. on mine, I was going to lighn it up before I installed it in my big truck, but found the tunning pot to be under a small PC board and unaccsesable for the tools I have so I saved that to take care of at a latter date. If any one knows of a trick to get to this Tunning point with out the dismantling of that small PC board I sure would appreiceate the help.
Thank's Big Mike 8113 Central Coast Calif.

You can take the front panel off and get access to it easy... Remove the chrome bezel and knobs, then the front housing is held on by 2 screws on the sides. Remove them and the front will move forward allowing you to do adjustments without disconnecting anything.... :D

I have this rig. It's been spot on since day one.

But you could use your clarifier, if it is made effective on xmit as well.
But I know this is not a split feature on this rig. rx.tx being controlled separately
