The Old Browning Ping

Post by Pepe Le Pew »

I built this project that was submitted by Stan the Man. It works just fine, but I need help figuring out where to hook the green wire. Says on the instructions the green goes to ground when the radio is keyed. Where in the radio should I hook this, or do I need to manually ground it after I have keyed the radio? The radio that I'm using for testing purposes is an old Cobra 77x. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like it needs to go to the tx from the mic, I would have to check it though

Same thing I originally thought. but it does not make any sound when connected to the transmit. I was thinking somewhere along the switching transistors, just not sure where that is in this old radio.
