Old radio power supply

Post by joemac »

G'day all,
I am trying to get my Ham ticket and I'm studying furiously. Anyhow, I have gotten hold of an old Yaesu FT-200 radio and It has no power supply. Can anyone tell me if there is anyplace where I can find one or some information on how to build one. I have a circuit diagram for one but I'm not sure how to proceed from there.Any help would be most appreciated. Cheers

Hi Joemac,

If you are unsure about building a supply I suggest you don't!

Power supplies (or anything that plugs to the mains) need respect and care, if you are to live to see another day!

My best advice would be to keep your eyes open on Ebay.
