re;noise (Fuel Pump)

At your COIL there is a capacitor,You need one of them.
It may be square or round ,But it only has one wire on it.
You can use a noise cap from a set of breaker points ,also.
O.K. ,radio on loud, engine - running, lisen for noise while
you unplug your fuel pump relay.. attach too the wire running to the fuel pump ,Don't cut the wire, skin the inslation back ,wrap the cap.wire around it.(the positive of the fuel pump). now attach the screw end,
Or bracket it has with it. You may also have to do the blower motor
also. I did my Ford Taurus99year it will work like you have the key off..Very Good johhn 361 lsb 38 in texas.. :D
The points & Condencer Box I have has part #C-1000 (round)
G.M.#1972370
The Ford # for a noise capisator is F6AF- 18801-AA (Black square)

You must find the relay for the fuel pump .On the Relay,
You will see a drawing on it . Look very close at it.
the wire that 2-spots on the drawing,(Trigger).
Or you can use a Test light the wire that has no power or ground to it ..
Re move the relay box under the box,Find the pump pos. Wire.
Wrap the caps.wire around the pump wire..attach otherend is shild or mount .

With the relay unplugged , the top left is key power .
The bottem right is the wire going to the pump .
Jump these two points for your test . When the pump runs, you will hear-
The noise on your radio,,,,,,
you now know how to drain or test the fuel system.
The bottem right is the wire you want, under the relay box.
