Hi Matey.
This might sound silly but it does work on Philips radios....Have you tried earthing the mic ? OR have you tried placing a magnet on the back of the mic ?
Cheers.

Hello again.

The back of the mic has a metal clip. Just earth the metal clip. This does work on Philips radios...BUT it does not hurt to try.
