does anyone have a magpies autoscan diagram as i need to know the number of IC13 i know it starts mc14 but the rest of the chip i have here is burnt if anyone can help out as info on this radio is hard to find

The IC is MC145106P

IC13 Sorry my error I read it as IC3 the number should be MC14093B which is up / down scan control chip, which how on the Motorola discontinued products list, if you can not find it you can use a CD4093B

ive got the chip and fitted it and it seems to have restored the scan feature the only problem i have now is the left hand side of the led says 8 perminantly and the right hand side is fine and goes 0-9 any ideas

Try replaceing IC11 (CD4511).
