How many extra watts do you get out of the radio with the new covers, or is it just extra channels you get ??.
How far is it.
Twice it's length from halfway.

I wouldn`t mind getting the covers for my Uniden Grant.
Are the Grants the same size as the Cobra 148`s?

From what I hear, if you mount the top cover upside down you`ll gain approx 12watts :D
