Loss of receive Galaxy 44v
Okay I have another problem with this radio. Today I disabled the talk back at j-15, and put in an on off mini toggle switch and it worked fine. Then I put a heat sink on it from a 99v, and it worked fine. Then I changed out the stock tr-51 a 2sb754y for a 2sb817 thats when I lost my receive. I pulled the 817 out, and put back in the 754 but still no receive. The radio transmits just fine, but no receive. One thing I did notice there was no audio in PA mode. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

hey bud,so no change with the audio chip huh, well one more question, does your s-meter work, and if so like if you put it on channel 19 or your busy channel where your at there.do you show any receive on your s-meter or not.if so id also check tr-42,this is your audio pre-amp.also when you changed out your audio chip, did you check the assc. shunt capacitors in that area.such as c-145,c-146,c-150,c-151.for any signs or burn.and do you have a schematic of your radio or not???
