One or Two antennas ???

One or Two antennas ???

I had two fiberglass 30" and then i switched to a single wilson 5000 and i can not pick up sh#% neither way. If over a mile i can not pick it up.

Hi if homebase us 75ohm coax to feed both aerials keep to the same make for obvious reasons use M-OR-T type pl259-connectors for loss reasons; as like a mobile ant same rules. they work really well on ssb etc the radiation patterns are altered so place for the best rx-tx etc not much choice on a car etc. on a motor vehicles make sure the doors are closed checking the vswr and they r well earthed and no shorts on the pl259s.

ya bro and just to let you know to antenna are bast because what its doing is giving you really good coverage back and front but not side to side oh and will the Wilson make sure you put it on the top of your cap and make sure that your cab and bed is grounded. Got it?
