I'm thinking about getting a KL-200P linear amp, will this work with my CB?

Is there any way to modify an amp with a frequency of 28-30 MHz to a lower 26-27 MHz frequency for CB?

The KL200 will work quit happy from 24 to 30 Mhz with on mods but do not put more than 8 watts input or it will not last. I have been using 200 for over 3 years and is still working well.

James.
