President lincoln in a box

Post by onebuttuglygit »

hello again people.....

I have been given a President Lincoln today....unfortunatly it`s in a sorry state.....the bloke who gave it me was in a car accident, and the radio was damged. The front panel which has all the small switches on it was cracked in two, along with the facsia.....over two years the bloke has picked up most of the spare parts.....my problem is the i dont have a user manual or a diagram for the set..!!...so i dont know what switches do what...some switches press and hold, others press and come straight back up.....Then things get worse......I have several wires which have come off the front panel and i assume goto the mother board..

please please please can anyone help me with this box of bits

I`m told that the lincoln was one of the best radios ever built

fingers crossed for replys

many thanks[/img]
