HR2510 bias adjustment

Post by captian_radio »

I just got an old HR2510 and was checking it over to make sure it is ok.When checking the bias on the driver and final I notice that it is almost impossible to set the bias to 50ma on the driver, seems to be erratic, I cleaned up the VR but its still the same, the final is bang on just the driver seems to be so touchy, any ideas?
Tnx Bob

Tnx for the info but I am not interested in getting more power at this time and the Rogerbirds site has a comprehensive review with mods etc, lots of good info there.Basically just going to use the 2510 as a back up for my other mobile rig.
