Im looking at buying a Cobra ultra 18 with weather band and i was wondering if this is a good radio? and also it has one little problem (its used) but i guess there is a loose connection where the coax screws into the back of the radio and it has to be wiggled to have the radio recieve properly, my question is how easy mostly be to fix?
is it worth it for $20
OR

I'm not trying to be rude, but I have had a couple of 18 ultra's and they are pretty much junk. I guess it would beat nothing at all for a short time till you could find something else..
Also the loose connection should be an easy fix. Tighten the nut on the so-39 where the coax screws on. Careful not to over tighten, snug. Also check the small wire inside the radio that goes to it, may need a solder touch. One more thing, it could be in the coax end itself, may need a new end. I would start with these things first.
