The Defpom Forum, for RadioMods, S&M Software and Music by The Defpom

I am having a problem getting my raidios to transmit and recieve more than a block. I have both cobra and radio shack radios that when I calibrate them with my swr meter the swr reading is more than 3. I have checked grounds, gain, and coax cables. Is there anything I am missing? Thanks for any help.

have you tried adjusting the antenna to lower the swr.

put the whole lot in the bin and start again
