Uniden PC66xl Expo 100 S- kit Help Please?

Post by YosemitySam »

I installed an Expo 100 S- kit in my PC66xl. It transmits just fine no problems but will not change on receive side. Say I would like to transmit on 27.185 it works it also recieves on 27.185. But, when I go low side 26.745 it transmits 26.745. But, recieves on 27.185. I followed intructions conneting the the white and green wires in between R69 and Pin 4 of TA310P Mixer. And Ground and Power are right too. I placed 100 pf cap across tune coils with experimentation for best recieve then tune coils. Is there a nother place to inject the Freqency or did it do something wronge?
Thanks !!!

did you isolate the 10.240 mhz crystal from the tx mixer..if not you need to take a exacto knife and cut the trace between the 10.240 crystal and pin 4 of the tx mixer..ta7310p

Thanks Fella's! I didn't expect a reply so soon. You helped me solve the problem yet again. Thanks for getting my pea brain in gear. I didn't isolate the 10.240 xtal from the mixer. Thanks for the links and advice. God Bless from Me to You and Yours!! Hope This Site and All a Long life...
