146 GTL swing mod

Post by violator »

http://www.geocities.com/y40002000/plowboy39.html You only need a 1n4001 diode and a foot of thin wire as the resistor is re-used in this version. I had to post this as I have been having a heck of a time finding specific mods for the 146 gtl. Maybe this will save someone some trouble.

After looking at the location of this mod, and the parts involved, there is no way you need the recommended 2 pieces of 6" wire at all.

I did this mod finally. It really worked nice. I just had to turn the mic down some.

Hey Violater, it really does work. DK 1-2 Swing 10+. I would like to get a little more out of it thou. I guess 17-18 would be max w/o stressing the finals. Aloha. jim....
