Is there a source anybody knows of to look up production dates of radios? Or a way to find out when a radio was made?
I'm mainly trying to find out when my President Adams CB radio (made in Japan) was manufactured. This is the second one I've had and I couldn't pass it up. It's in excellent shape, looks new and still has the mounting bracket, box it came in, even the manual, schematics and warranty card.
I can't tell anything from the serial or control numbers on the back. I looked inside but didn't see anything either. No printed dates on the manual either. I'm pretty sure it was made in the 70's but I'd like to narrow it down more than that.
I also have a couple others I like to look up.
Thanks in advance.
How old is my radio?

Re: How old is my radio?
Talked to president electronics and have been able to find out from the serial number it was made in 1977.
