When where these made?

Post by WyoTrunker »

Guy came by to ask me about my monkey made stiffs and asked if I had another, I offered him my Wilson for $5, he offered me his old CB, I accepted, my father in law nearly shat himself when he saw how old it was, and it works, it's an old General Electric S-5814A CB with an old Krista mic, I am curious as to how old it is and what it may be worth.

anyone have any idea?
I am including a link to a google image f this model.....please let me know.

Going by the switches and it being 40 channels, I would say made between 78- 82, not worth much down here being AM only, good condition though. Search ebay for it. http://www.cbtricks.com/radios/general_ ... /index.htm PLL03A inside.
