The Defpom Forum, for RadioMods, S&M Software and Music by The Defpom

Has anyone tried using HUF75343P3 Mosfets in place of IRF520s or ERF 2030's in radios? I was just following some posts in another part of these forums where it was stated that these are a stronger Mosfet, and it got me thinking.

Rick from Euro radio co put me on to theirs mosfets about 5 years ago. When he converted my Cobra 148GTL-DX with them i seam to remember he change many caps and some resistors and rework a coil.
I have been using the rig most days for the past 5 years mobile with on trouble, the output on FM is just under 35 watts, and SSB is about 55 watts i cannot give you the power on AM as we do not use it in England.

It run a lot cooler than my new RCI 2950DX which has IRF520.
