Uniden PC66XL

Hello, I have a PC66xl that I am having a problem with. Seems that when I am using it the radio receive will just FADE away and when I try to key up, just the red light will come on but nothing else and my meters show nothing. Any help would be great Thanks.

Press around the PLL / VCO area of the circuit board and see if you can find bad soldering. I have repaired a few recently with this porblem.
