Standard Horizon HX370s Marine Radio HT programing problems

I have purchased 5 HX370s marine radio hand helds. I tried to program in extra channels as the Mfg. says it will with no results. I delt with the factory with no satisfaction. I forud poor solder work at the mike to pc board connection and repaired it my self. The other radios i`ll send back where i purchased them and ask for replacements and keep this up till i get what works. I`m using factory cables and soft ware. Any feed backs ?? also does any one have mods for the 25 watt marine radio narrow band programing or mods ?? Tks, " seadogguy "
