Does any one know if the same mod can be performed on a FT 80c as the FT 747 to make it transmit general coverage.
The FT 747 I'm told is a commerical version of the FT 80c, but does the same mod apply.
Also is it possible to convert an Icom IC 718 to general coverage trasmit. And which out of these two radios would be better on 11m band. The FT 80c has FM but the IC 718 does not.
