I have a robyn t-240d with no recieve. i checked all the tubes an they are all ok..you can just here someone if they are very close to you...radio has great transmit... if you trun the volumn all the way up you can hardly here any noise at all...I checked all the caps an diodes they were ok also...any sugestions?

do you have proper signal showing on the s-meter,or is this low as well??

no signal on meter... an very little noise... I even checked the relays an they are fine

I just picked up a T-240D with the exact same problem ie. Great TX very low RX. I havent had time to check the tubes yet but I suspect that it is probably an alignment problem. I picked up the Sams manual with the RX alignment info for the radio and Im about to work on mine. If your still responding to this thread I will post the alignment info and maybe we can exchange some notes and get these things receiving.

Note: Tools needed for Alignment are: Signal Generator through a .01uf cap to the antenna jack and a set of plastic alignment tools GC numbers:
9440, 8276, 5000, 5009, 8278, 8282, 8606, and 9302 or the ones you have and whittle the rest from bamboo cooking skewers like I do.
